With your help, we can bring Israel’s kidney patients – from darkness to light!
We connect people, mentor kidney donors and patients, embrace them,
and above all – save lives.
I feel a personal obligation to help Matnat Chaim grow and to raise awareness about kidney donation in every home in Israel, so that no patients are left without hope.
I will never forget when the wonderful bond between Elchanan and me began. My surgery took place during a time of widespread unity and shared prayers here in Israel, and that connected with what I was doing personally.

Rabbi Yeshayahu Heber z”l, who himself received a kidney transplant, turned his personal story of survival into a life-saving endeavor:
the nonprofit organization Matnat Chaim.
Together with his wife, Rachel Heber, he built Matnat Chaim—and today, following his tragic death, she continues to lead the organization and fulfill their shared vision.
